AutoUSA Announces ‘Lead Quality and Service Initiative’ Has Resulted in Highest Closing Rates for New Car Leads 0

Posted on June 06, 2011 by Automotive News

Fort Lauderdale, Florida (PRWEB) September 17, 2007

AutoUSA, America’s best source of online customers, announced its “Lead Quality and Service Initiative” has resulted in closing rates higher than any other third-party provider of new car leads. Initiative results have been confirmed by Kain Automotive and by AutoNation, America’s largest auto retailer.

Kain Automotive, a training and consulting group, recently ran a six month composite of its clients’ success with all lead providers. “We were caught by surprise when our auditing showed that AutoUSA’s close rate numbers are considerably better than other new vehicle lead sources,” said David Kain, President of KainAutomotive.com. “The gap between AutoUSA and the other popular providers has expanded rapidly this year. We are trying to determine what is causing the performance difference. Quality is of course an issue we will look at and suspect it will have a big role.”

Kain used metrics reported from his clients every month via Monthly Internet Performance Summaries. From January 2007 through June 2007, in an average taken from more than 80 dealers, AutoUSA’s close rate was 11.61%, which was at least 3% better than second-ranked Autobytel, and significantly higher than any other volume lead providers.

These results have also been confirmed by AutoNation, America’s largest automotive retailer with more than 300 stores nationwide. “In our ongoing close rate analysis AutoUSA close rates are consistently 20% higher than any of the other providers we buy from,” said Mark Taylor, Director of e-Commerce at AutoNation. “We share this data with AutoUSA on a regular basis to help them guide their business in an upward quality flight. We can see by the numbers and not ‘opinions in a survey’ that they have the best lead quality by far. That makes a lot of difference to us and our bottom line.”

AutoUSA attributes the higher close rates to its strategic partnerships with the most respected and most visited automotive web sites including Edmunds.com, Kelley Blue Book, MSN and Yahoo! The majority of AutoUSA’s leads come from these and similar top-rated web sites.

“None of the other new car lead providers come close to delivering the number of leads that we do from these highly qualified web sites,” said Phil DuPree, President of AutoUSA. “From the beginning we have made lead quality our top priority and we continue to foster a culture of continued improvement.”

To achieve the goals established in its initiative, AutoUSA increased capital expenditures in advanced filter and scrubbing technology, dedicated efforts to grow and expand its lead source partnerships, and has hired experienced and customer-centric oriented employees to service and support its network of more than 4,000 dealerships.

About AutoUSA (http://www.AutoUSA.com)

AutoUSA, Inc., is headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and a subsidiary of AutoNation, Inc. (NYSE: AN), the largest retail automotive company in the United States. AutoUSA is an independent third-party provider of leads to more than 4,000 dealerships. Autos, America Online, NADA Analytical Services Group and AutoVantage.com. In 2006, 88 of the Ward’s e-100 dealers were customers of AutoUSA. Olympic Champion, Carly Patterson, Takes Success With a Gymnasts Stride 0

Posted on June 05, 2011 by Automotive News

Denver, CO (PRWEB) November 17, 2004 -

Ever wonder what it’s like to be 16-year old Olympic Champion Carly Patterson? Well, in addition to a busy schedule of personal appearances in recent months, NBC-TV will take an intimate look at the American gymnast in the network television special ‘Carly Patterson, Life After Gold powered by Tyson’ Sunday, November 28 at 3:30 p.m. EST.

Success found Patterson last summer when she became the United States’ first all-around gymnastics gold medallist since 1984 at the Olympic Games in Athens, Greece. While her new found celebrity and a national television special is exciting, it’s just one of the many projects and promotions Carly is working on these days.

The TV special, presented by Tyson, helps examine some of the remarkable changes in her life since Olympic glory. With her family and coaches in Dallas, Tex. and during the course of a 42-city gymnastics tour, Carly shares her thoughts concerning life after the Olympics, family, new responsibilities, future goals, and her newly found fame. Cameras will follow her through a typical day of training, private family time, post-Olympic appearances, touring and spreading the inspirational story of an Olympic Champion.

“Carly has become an inspiration for young people around the country,” says Olympic Gold Medalist Bart Conner. “In her role as our newest Olympic heroine, she is anxious to share her journey of commitment, determination and success to audiences everywhere. Her example can only bring hope to our students and athletes searching for their path in life.”

Today Show host Katie Couric was in Athens covering the Olympic Games for NBC-TV and says she flipped for Carly. “When we arrived in Greece for the Games, everyone was asking Carly if she was ready to be the next Mary Lou Retton,” says Couric. “And I remember she said, ‘No. I want to be the new Carly. Now everyone knows her name and the future couldn’t be brighter.” Couric recently said when she presented Patterson with Glamour Magazine’s “Women of the Year” award.

In recent months, Patterson has established several important business relationships with Tyson Foods and Ford Motor Company, and the American Dental Association, along with existing ties with Visa and Wheaties. Positively for Kids is planning to publish Carly’s story in book form.

Patterson’s schedule this month includes several award presentations and personal appearances. On November 8, Patterson was presented the Glamour Magazine Women of the Year Award at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.

Cosmopolitan Magazine presented Carly with the Cosmo Girl ‘Born to Lead’ Award on November 15 and then on Thanksgiving Day, she will be featured in the annual Macy’s Parade and will light the Tree at Rockefeller Center.

On November 26, Carly will travel to Miami to visit the Stop Hunger food pantry where Tyson will be making a donation in partnership with Share our Strength. December 1, she will be honored as one of the March of Dimes Sportswomen of the Year. Back in September, Carly visited Red Cross headquarters in Washington, DC and committed relief dollars to the organization’s Disaster Relief Fund to assist victims of the Florida hurricanes.

After bringing home three gymnastics medals from the Athens Olympics, including the all-around gold, Carly Patterson returned home a hero and she’s ready to take the mantel. Katie Couric isn’t the only American flipping for Carly Patterson. An entire country looks forward to seeing her often in the coming years.
