San Leandro, CA (Vocus/PRWEB) March 16, 2011

The all-new redesigned 2011 Ford Explorer is on order at many Ford dealerships, but they can be found in stock at The Ford Store of San Leandro. The East Bay Ford dealer is keeping up with much of the demand, and trucks are available now for people who just can’t wait.

“The North American Truck of the Year Award is significant,” said Phil Baltazar, general manager of the Ford Store of San Leandro. “The winners are chosen by a jury of about 50 automotive journalists from the United States and Canada. The awards are unique in the United States because instead of being given by a single media outlet they are awarded by a coalition of automotive journalists from the United States and Canada who represent magazines, television, radio, newspapers, and web sites.”

US News New Care Reviews says: “The 2011 Ford Explorer ranks #1 out of 23 Affordable Midsize SUVs. This ranking is based on our analysis of 11 published reviews and test drives of the Ford Explorer, and our analysis of reliability and safety data.

Reviewers are saying that the Ford Explorer has what it takes to compete with the best midsize SUVs and crossovers on the market, and improved fuel economy, adept performance, and a comfortable interior make the Ford Explorer a great family vehicle.

Family-owned and operated for the last twenty years, the East Bay Ford Store in San Leandro knows that it takes a dedicated team of professionals in every department to create an unrivaled automotive experience for their customers, especially when it comes to investing in a new car that it is extremely popular.

Ford Surges Ahead With a Longer Powertrain Warranty on 2007 Ford, Mercury and Lincoln Vehicles 0

Ford Surges Ahead With a Longer Powertrain Warranty on 2007 Ford, Mercury and Lincoln Vehicles

New Canaan, CT (PRWEB) August 24, 2006

Ford has managed to get people talking again about product quality and confidence by lengthening the powertrain warranty on its 2007 vehicles. Ford and Mercury vehicles will receive five years powertrain warranty coverage or 60,000 miles, while Lincoln vehicles receive six years powertrain warranty coverage or 70,000 miles.

The longer powertrain warranty means that Ford now offers some of the best warranties in the industry. With the new warranties, Ford offers far better warranties than American carmakers Chrysler Group and GM.

In fact, Lincoln’s 2007 warranty is an astonishing two years longer than Cadillac’s, which is sure to sway some buyers over to Lincoln. The new Ford powertrain warranty is retroactive to the beginning of the 2007 model year, so customers who already have purchased a 2007 Ford, Lincoln or Mercury will automatically receive the added protection. These warranties have no deductible and are fully transferable when the vehicle is sold.

“My wife and I are in the market for a minivan and have narrowed our choices down to the Ford Freestar or the Pontiac Montana. When we heard about the amazing new warranty available on the Ford, we are now strongly leaning towards purchasing the Freestar,” stated Trevor Bowden, 35 from Norwalk Virginia.

Top executives at Ford hope that other consumers echo Bowden’s sentiments. According to a statement in the press release issued by Ford announcing the longer powertrain warranty, Ford’s goal is to be America’s car company.

“Ford is able to take this aggressive stance with its powertrain warranty because the quality of the vehicles is so high. Ford has really concentrated on implementing quality improvements over the past several years, so the company is in a place to showcase those quality improvements with the longer warranty,” Richard Reynolds, GM, Griffin Ford explains. He continues: “Our customers are thrilled when they learn about the amazing powertrain warranty available on Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles. It gives them a great comfort level and a feeling that the Ford products offer a better value.”

With the automobile industry more competitive than ever and with such a large selection of vehicles to choose from, many consumers will definitely consider the powertrain warranty when they comparison shop. Retailers with an online presence like Griffin Ford should experience an upsurge in sales as consumers choose Ford vehicles over other automakers.
