The Internationalist magazine announces the winners in its first annual Internationalist Awards for Innovative Digital Marketing Solutions. The Awards are a response to marketers asking for international best practice examples of digital solutions that enhance brands and bring results. They are also an outgrowth of The Internationalists Awards for Innovation in Media and an acknowledgment of how todays marketing strategies are affected by the growth of new digital options.
Entries came from 24 countries, and the judges agreed that the work expanded current notions of digital innovation and effectiveness. Scott Berg, Director of Digital Strategy at Hewlett-Packard and Chairman of the Jury, commented, by answering critical questions about insights, strategy, solutions and results, these award winners demonstrate how much can be achieved for brands regardless of the economic climate.
The Grand Prix was awarded to Dockers, submitted by OMD US for its shake campaign.
The goal of the Dockers campaign was to enable the brand to break out of associations with generic khaki products, generate excitement among consumers and revolutionize a cluttered category. If accomplished, the campaign would strengthen the Dockers leadership position. Dockers created the first, interactive shake ad with actual movement and distributed it as an app-like ad across a custom-build ad network of iPhone applications. The ad became a technological and cultural phenomenon.
After a thorough evaluation of the winners and combined tabulation of winning scores, it was decided to awards an additional honor. One agency, Tribal DDB Amsterdam, received 3 gold awards for their Cornetto Love Messenger, Philips_vs and Philips Cinema campaigns. Their work to revitalize brands, launch new ones and actively engage consumers not only demonstrated a tremendous grasp of varied digital media options, but underscored innovative strategic thinking against specific target groups. As a result, The Internationalist has named Tribal DDB Amsterdam as the Digital Agency of 2009.

some of its assest its known for are its quality, looks, and it has decent performance
