A close look at the customized kick ass off-roader from Mahindra. Unveiled at the 2010 Indian Auto Expo in Delhi. The Mahindra Thar has a powerful diesel 2498cc CRDe engine. It generates 105 Bhp at 3800rpm and unleashes a 247 Nm of torque coming in from 1800-2000rpm. So obviously the Mahindra Thar ventures in terrains where cars cant even dream of treading. A ground clearance of 200mm, 4WD & a fully articulated suspension means that the Mahindra Thar meets all the off roading criteria enthusiasts were so hoping for. This Jeep like a true blue off roader will seat just two persons. While the Mahindra Thar is mainly meant for exports, insiders at Mahindra are mulling a Indian launch after seeing the excellent response by Indian Off Road enthusiasts.

Now Force Motors is getting into the development and selling of cars. orce Motors Limited is preparing to launch its new SUV, Force One, in India. As per the speculations, Force One will be launched tomorrow that is August 19, 2011. The launch of Force One will introduce Force Motors India in the passenger car segment so the company is very eager and excited about its launch. The Force One SUV Price is not yet revealed but it is speculated that the price will be more than Rs. 10 lakhs.

The launch of Force One will be very competitive as the car will compete with other SUVs such as Tata Safari, Mahindra Scorpio, etc.

It is speculated that Force One is one step above the other SUVs.

The Force One specifications reveal that Force One may have a 2.2 litre common rail turbo diesel engine which will produce a power of 140 bhp. The car body type will be SUV having the length 5010 mm, width, 1780mm, and height 1900 mm.

The seating capacity of the car will be seven. The car will consist of alloy wheels, power steering, front disk and rear drum brakes. The gearbox will have five speed options. The weight of the car may be 1570 kg. The fuel tank will have the capacity of 75 litres.

Other features include bumpers, tachometer and trip meter. The safety features include two airbags, parking sensors, fog lamps, EBD and ABS.

As per Force One review, the dealerships of the car will be given to 18 dealers in North, West and South India.

No dealership plan is expected for East India. It is reported that the new Force One SUV has been seen on many Indian national highways for test drives. The time will tell how the Force Motors manage the competition of Force One with other popular SUVs.

The launch of Force One is expected tomorrow that is August 18, 2011. The launch of Force One will introduce Force Motors in SUV market.
